According to a leak from insider TheGhostofHope, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 may feature two versions of zombie mode at launch.
In addition to the standard format, the developers are allegedly preparing a completely new mode called Cursed. It should appeal to long-time fans of the series, as it brings back the atmosphere of the classics — World at War and Black Ops 1. In Cursed, armour, mini-maps and the ability to evacuate are removed, leaving players with only a pistol at the start of the game.
It is not yet clear how the system for choosing between the two modes will work. Activision has not officially confirmed the information, so the leak should be treated with caution. At the same time, given TheGhostofHope's reputation in the Call of Duty community, it is possible that the new mode will be revealed on 30 September at the COD Next event.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is scheduled for release on 14 November for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
